Gonzales et al. v. Fresenius Medical Care [$6,000,000.00]

Facts and Allegations:

Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc. and its affiliated entities allegedly employed thousands of hourly workers in the State of California at its various vascular care and dialysis facilities. Two of these workers filed a private attorney general action and a class action lawsuit against Fresenius based on its alleged failure to provide legally compliant rest and meal periods, overtime pay, wage statements, final paychecks, and other alleged wage and hour violations of California labor laws.

After approximately more than 5 years of litigation, Hogue & Belong was appointed class counsel and successfully obtained final court approval of a Statewide class action settlement, resulting in significant monetary payment to thousands of Fresenius’ hourly workers in the State of California.
