Experience:
Tony R. Skogen, Jr. is Of Counsel to the San Diego office of Hogue & Belong. Mr. Skogen’s practice primarily concerns the area of employment law.

Mr. Skogen has significant experience handling various employment and labor issues, including wage and hour violations, age discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, retaliation, and other unfair business practices.

Mr. Skogen’s current litigation practice has been complimented and enhanced by his extensive experience in high profile complex consumer and securities cases, where he focused on issues surrounding employee pension fund mismanagement, corporate mismanagement, and anti-competition. Significantly, Mr. Skogen helped to manage a confirmatory discovery process in In re Titan, Inc. Sec. Litig., Master File No. 04-CV-0676-LAB (S.D. Cal.) which led to the approval of a $61.5 million dollar settlement on behalf of the class.

Mr. Skogen has served as Counsel to the United States Government where he was a legal adviser providing analysis and evaluation of the legal sufficiency of actions and instruments dealing with obligating and disbursing home and business disaster loans throughout the United States. While attending the University of San Diego School of Law, Mr. Skogen served as a Justice on the University’s Honor Court and as the American Bar Association Representative for the University as well as a Delegate to the American Bar Association National Conference in Washington D.C.
